The historic African experience influenced field songs like wad in the water. These was used to tell people the best way to escape the hunters was by wading in the water. This encouraged their spirits to get through the pain and suffering . Also their strive to get away and fight back.
These field songs was turn in to gospel from the force of religion one Africans. So instead of just hoping things would change they prayed to god and Jesus to save them in their time of need. Later on these gospel songs turn to blues, telling the world about your problems and love life.
These section of songs were built off of each other. Blues was turned in to jazz. Jazz is a more up tempo form of blues ,but jazz talks about a different way of love the form ofpositive love. Jazz is more of dancing music rather than blues which is slow and usually low tempo beat.
Rock and roll was a more regular tempo and a little loud, but very dance able. This type of music was based on love life and problem. A mixture of blues and jazz it was. Rock in roll can be influenced by people, loved ones or even racism. R and B is similar but much softer and mostly about love and heart break. Some times R and B can be about the wrongs in the world that have been done. And it has aregular tempo beat to it.
I have learned that African people made music. And my ancestors brought music to this country. An in this country we were looked down on. To the point things have been taken from us like our music, names, religion, language and culture. I have also learned that even in the music business their was deceit. Like the theft on of songs like tuttie fruittie made by little richard and hound dog by big mama thorton stolen by the same person Elvis Presly. But through all the pain and deceit we still carried on and will still carry on.
